Enough For The Day / Alberin

"Alberin" was a short-short originally published in the January 2006 issue of Deep Magic, a winner of the November 2005 Writing Challenge. Under 500 words, "Alberin" is a snapshot in the life of a gravely ill ambassador who has been given a mission by Shansor’s king to negotiate the first peace with the neighboring kingdom of Arnon since the overthrow of the Guardians.
